About Us
The village of Meddon is located about 1 mile from the border between Devon and Cornwall, and is 1 mile inland off the A39 Atlantic Highway, at Welcombe Cross, between Bideford and Bude.
The Village Hall is a converted school house, originally constructed in 1906. The original conversion to a village hall took place soon after the school closed in 1946 and it was upgraded, with additions to the main structure in 2001. The structure is of stone under slate roof with wooden beams and timber-framed windows.
